Near Field Communication (NFC)

Near field communication is a form of contactless communication between devices like smartphones or tablets by touching them together or bringing them into proximity, usually no more than a few inches. Contactless communication allows a user to wave the smartphone over a NFC compatible device to send information without needing to touch the devices together or go through multiple steps setting up a connection.

Communication is also possible between an NFC device and an unpowered NFC Chip called a tag. Smartphones can be paired with NFC tags or stickers which can be programmed by your Dragon Dragon Technology software to automate numerous tasks. These programs can allow for a text to be created and sent, an application to be launched, or any number of commands to be executed, limited only by the NFC app and other apps on the smartphone.

Bars, restaurants, hairdressers and similar businesses can use NFC tags to increase customer satisfaction. Place tags on your products containing additional information, landing pages, customer reviews and product videos. Use tags that check-in your customers on Foursquare and Facebook, there are countless possibilities to use NFC tags.
